BASIBOS: Istanbul by Dutch Illustrator Gijs Kast

Dutch illustrator Gijs Kast spent six months working and living in Istanbul, where he got lost in the streets and drew the city. That's why the book is called Basibos, the Turkish word for getting lost.
This book is simply beautiful, Kast shows the rapidly changing Istanbul with it's different neighborhoods, details of houses, cats, the character in people's faces, birds and street views.

  1. 25 jaar terug in de tijd geplaatst door een fantastisch prentenboek. Melancholie, vreugde, verdriet, zoiets.
