AORTICA #2: The Auckland Issue

AORTICA has been out for a a bit. Stack recently posted a positive review on it. It's a 300 page travel magazine that is about Auckland, New Zealand this time.
Mone and Piero Borsellino travelled to New Zealand with their newborn son. "For us, editing, directing, and designing our own publication is not just about making a magazine - it's a way of life", they write in the editorial.
The issue is made up of illustrations, photographs of people's houses, the artists of Auckland, chefs and their restaurants, the music scene and colourful inhabitants. On page 54 you will find a feature on Pie Paper that's made in New Zealand and one of our current favourite titles.

Despite the huge amount of content (they could have filled up 600 pages they say) it is still a cleverly designed magazine with overview and space. It's a good travel guide and a documentation of a six week trip seen through the eyes of a creative couple.
