AN ANTIDOTE TO INDIFFERENCE - a field recording special

An Antidote To Indifference is a magazine published by Caught by the River, a blog about music and art.
This 6th issue is edited by Cheryl Tipp and is all about the art of field recording. Field recordings in Northern India, microphones, a sound map of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, a London sound survey (dogs barking, road traffic, footsteps), a review of 'In The Field: the art of Field Recording'.
It's a fascinating look in the world of noises and people who are obsessed with sound and how to capture it.
