Interview with Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari from TOILET PAPER MAGAZINE

WE LOVE TOILET PAPER MAGAZINE.  That's why we thought it would be nice to ask creators Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari some questions about their cool magazine.

What inspired you to make a magazine over a book?

We'd love Toilet Paper's images to be spread as much as possible. A magazine seemed a better way to carry them around, compared to a book: it's lighter and affordable for everyone.
Why is Toilet Paper published so irregularly? We want it every month.

We work on it every day of every month. But to make a good issue we first need to get obsessed with images in our minds until we explode in a material outburst... and this process is utterly irregular!

What is your personal favourite picture published in Toilet Paper?

Which magazines do you read yourself?

We usually don't read magazines. We'd rather look at the pictures.
