 Privateer

Privateer's main focus is the MOUNTAIN BIKE. In the current issue they follow Tracey Moseley for a day. We also get a look in her traning diary: "3hrs on road, legs felt ok on hills, left leg felt more tired than right. 3hrs seems to pass really easily now!! Core, press ups and stretch".

There's an interview with Chris Ford, a professional mountain bike coach and guide and there's an interview with Ray Petro who transformes old factories, ships and industrial spaces into cool indoor mountain bike parks.  Order Here

Steel

STEEL is a French/English magazine about FIXED GEAR and SINGLE SPEED bikes,Barcelona gets investigated as cycle city, the squares and architecture form a great venue for BMX's. 

There's an interview with bike collector Lorenzo who is collecting fixies for more than 15 years since he picked up the fixed gear trend as one of the first persons in France. Order Here

In Rouleur an interview with Shelley Verses, a soigneur from the 80's. Soon my boyfriend had me doing free masages to all the boys in the local bike club.   Cycle Chic

 The Cycle Chic Manifesto:

Soigneur, Fietsstang & De Muur

Three Dutch magazines in Dutch on cycling. DE MUUR has a lot of stories and interviews, and is a literary magazine about biking. In the current issue a bike diary from Iran by Ruurd Edens. 

De wielersport is de laatste jaren enorm gemondialiseerd. Voertaal in het peloton is tegenwoordig Engels en is het de klok rond koers op álle continenten: van China tot Uruguay, van Zuid-Afrika tot Qatar. Voor het winterthemanummer ging De Muur op zoek naar verhalen in de verste uithoeken van Azië, Afrika, Zuid- en Midden-Amerika. Naar de specifieke kenmerken van de Ronde van Iran, naar een vroege Parijs-Roubaix op Java, naar de wielerstand van Colombia, naar een aangrijpende poging vanuit Eritrea, naar een geregisseerde feestrace op Curaçao en naar de wielerbeleving in Oeganda.
